NON-TUTORING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We depend heavily on volunteers to help get the job done. The following non-tutoring opportunities are available. Please read through our "wish list" and see if you or someone you know can help make a difference.

If you would like more information about volunteering with LVFC, please contact us.

  • Tutor Support: gathering feedback and/or administrative data, sharing best practices, teaching in-services, tutor lending library administrative support

  • Student Support: gathering feedback from students, compiling and publishing student works

  • Basic Reading or ESOL Workshops: assist at tutoring training, become a tutor trainer

  • Fundraising: event planning, annual appeal assistance, grant writing

  • Newspaper Articles and Advertizing: brochure development, marketing

  • Board Members and Committee Members: knowledge of LVFC essential, knowledge of non profits- fundraising, marketing, PR, finances very helpful
