NON-TUTORING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We depend heavily on volunteers to help get the job done. The following
non-tutoring opportunities are available. Please read through our
"wish list" and see if you or someone you know can help make a difference.

Tutor Support: gathering feedback and/or administrative
data, sharing best practices, teaching in-services, tutor lending
library administrative support

Student Support: gathering feedback from students, compiling
and publishing student works

Basic Reading or ESOL Workshops: assist at tutoring training,
become a tutor trainer

Fundraising: event planning, annual appeal assistance,
grant writing

Newspaper Articles and Advertizing: brochure development, marketing

Board Members and Committee Members: knowledge of LVFC essential,
knowledge of non profits- fundraising, marketing, PR, finances very
helpful
Literacy Volunteers

records. Information pertaining to individual tutors and students

Students and tutors are welcome to share their experience publicly
as long as they do not violate the privacy of other tutors or students.
